Bondage kits are a great way to get starting on your BDSM collection. Rather than going out an buying multiple toys and restraints, bondage kits tend to come with a collection of toys and tools to get you started. The Official Pleasure Collection contains two different 50 Shades bondage kits, each with their own specific purposes. Let’s have a look at these two sets to help you decide which is the better option for your budding BDSM stash!

50 shades bondage kit

50 Shades Beginner Bondage Kit

This bondage kit contain three very basic elements – a four piece set of restraints, a paddle, and a eye mask style blindfold. While the eye mask and blindfold are rather self explanatory, the restraints should be looked into a bit further.

These restraints are a double-sided satin ties with two D-rings sewn into the bottoms. This style of bondage restraint is very portable – you can use it on the bed, in a chair, outdoors – anywhere you wish to have your session. The D-ring system is easy to use, and anyone with this style of belt should be familiar on how to tighten and loosen this set of bondage ties.

This set is slightly more expensive than the other 50 Shades bondage kit, but does contain the spanking paddle.

50 shades bed bondage kit

50 Shades Bed Bondage Kit

While the 50 Shades Bed Bondage Kit contains one less item than the beginner bondage kit (no spanking paddle in this one), it is still a great kit for those who are building their BDSM collection.

This bondage kit is specifically made for the bed. Four cuffs are attached to a strapping system that is placed under the mattress. The weight of the mattress, as well as the submissive, keeps the bondage set from shifting while in use. The cuffs themselves are much more “heavy duty” than the satin ties system used in the Beginner Bondage Set, but are just as simple to attach and remove. The cuffs themselves are attached to the strap systems via clips, so they can actually be removed and used with other clip-and-ring systems such as spreader bars.
